Communication is a fundamental human right; we are passionate about supporting young people to meet their potential. We work collaboratively and holistically with parents, educators and other professionals to enable children and young people to communicate effectively in a way that works for them so that they can thrive.

We work with children and young people who present with a range of differences in their communication profile including:

  • Difficulties with expressive and receptive language skills

  • Unclear or bumpy speech

  • Neurodivergent children and young people who may present with differences in social communication and interaction, emotion regulation and attention and listening.

  • Children struggling to identify and express their feelings

  • Young people and teenagers who struggle to use their communication skills effectively to advocate for their needs

  • Children who are Gestalt language processors

  • Children who are non-speaking

  • Children who use their behaviour to communicate

A plan for speech and language therapy support is discussed following an initial assessment. This will be tailored to your child or young person and family and may include direct sessions, training of communication partners, working with school or online support.

We provide neuroaffirmative interventions that seek to empower children and young people, to give them a voice and help them to thrive.

We work collaboratively with other professionals to support a child to reach their potential and regularly contribute to team around the child and multidisciplinary meetings.
